Fellowship 30a Church has established a separate Missions Fund to provide for charitable organizations in Walton County. 15% of all donations to Fellowship 30a Church is set aside for Missions unless the donor has designated otherwise. The Leadership Team has identified the following three charities as recipients of funds for 2022.
Caring & Sharing of South Walton
This was established to provide a resource to assist local families in need. They provide food and assistance with the support of churches, civic groups, individuals, and businesses. In addition to yearlong assistance, Caring & Sharing also has special projects for Back-to-School, Thanksgiving, and Christmas including Angel Tree gifts for children. Caring & Sharing is a 501(c)3 organization with a volunteer Board of Directors. Visit their website at www.caringandsharingsowal.org.
Young Life in South Walton
focuses on introducing adolescents to Jesus and helping them grow in their faith. Local staff and volunteer leaders are daily entering the world of kids to build relationships with them at sporting events and in smaller group settings. YL staffers Dan and Allie have also been substitute teaching at the schools to get to know students and faculty members. For more information contact dan.vanderwoude@gmail.com.
In addition to the local charitable organizations Fellowship 30a Church has established a relationship with the Sheriff’s Department of Walton County. The purpose is to provide a helping hand to local individuals who may need assistance at this particular time in their life. Two deserving families in North Walton have been identified to receive a $300 Walmart card each month for the next year from Fellowship 30a Church. Members of the Leadership Team and Sheriff’s Department will follow up with visits to the families and provide help and hope during their time of need.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
